THE CLUB COVID-19 RESPONSE
The Club & Physical Therapy COVID-19 Update (March 17, 4:30pm)
Attention valued members, following the executive order issued by Governor Murphy, The Club at Woodbridge Sports & Fitness Center will be closed as of 8:00pm on Monday, March 16th, and remain closed until further notice.
Hackensack Meridian Physical Therapy will still offer therapy sessions. Please call them directly regarding your scheduled appointments.
Please bare with us during these trying times and check our website here at theclub.org for updates. We look forward to seeing you upon re-opening.
Kidsports Academy COVID-19 Update (March 17, 4:30pm)
Please be advised that effective March 18th, Kidsports Academy will be closed. The Township of Woodbridge has been following guidelines from the State of New Jersey and our local Board of Health. While Governor Phil Murphy did not include daycare centers on his list of mandatory closures, we feel that it is in our best interest to close our facility. Please be assured your child’s health and well-being is of the utmost importance to us. During the past few weeks, your child’s classroom was cleaned and sanitized on a nightly basis. This past weekend, we had the entire “Kidsports Academy” deep cleaned, including all classrooms and common areas.
As we move forward with this closure, our staff is working on various online learning methods which we can implement so your child can keep in touch with their favorite teacher(s). We will be sending email updates with instructions on how to access these programs as we travel down this new road. We will also not be charging you for April tuition.
We wish everyone good health and we ask for your patience. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Veronica Velazquez, Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or Jennifer Stoeckel, Assistant Director, at email@example.com or call 732-634-5000.
Recreation Facilities Corona virus (COVID-19) Guidelines
We continue to regularly monitor concerns associated with coronavirus (COVID-19) and wanted to take a moment to provide an update as it relates to our partons of the Woodbridge Community Center and The Club at Woodbridge.
Our top priority, as you know, is the safety of everyone involved with programing at our facilities. We have increased the cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms, common areas and locker rooms and ensured providing hand sanitizers throughout the facility and hand washing soap in the restrooms. We would also like to share the importance that everyone follows the precautionary guidelines below.
- Practice frequent and meticulous hand-washing with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing and/or sneezing
- Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
- Use individual water bottles; do not share them
- Towels should not be shared in any way
While the coronavirus is without question a significant concern, as of today, all activities at The Woodbridge Community Center or the Club at Woodbridge will go on as planned.
It is important to note, however, that the situation is fluid and we will provide updates as warranted. For the most up-to-date information, visit this website often. Thank you for your diligence in following the guidelines above and continuing to stay engaged with this important topic.
